Toddler Ballet – Classical Ballet – Tap Dance
We offer classes in the ISTD syllabus for Ballet & Tap for children aged 2-16years.
Our very special Pre School classes are a child’s first experience of the world of dance. Swiss Cottage Dance provides structured classes, which include set ballet exercises and steps, nursery rhymes and magical stories, encouraging children to develop their imagination.
Syllabus work is taught to children aged 5years and up. Throughout their time at Swiss Cottage Dance, children are given the opportunity to work towards their Ballet Class Assessments. Children are encouraged to work hard, aiming for good results whilst at the same time having fun and discovering the world of dance.
Some children at Swiss Cottage Dance take their ballet extremely seriously and have been awarded places on professional dance training programmes, however the majority of our pupils dance for fun and our classes at Swiss Cottage Dance aim to develop an enthusiasm and passion in dance which we hope will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
